Marta is an excellent host and her place is lovely. We had great time. She responded quickly to all questions. Her place has everything you could think of! We could have saved a lot of space in packing. The lake is awesome. I would highly recommend booking here.

Marta's cottage is a truly special place. Serene moments with loon calls lakeside, rejuvenating sauna's, cozy livingroom corners for reading, and a dining table big enough to enjoy a feast or compete around a boardgame. We can't imagine a summer without this immersion in nature. Excellently curated interior nestled in nature's own perfect landscape. Highly recommended.

What an amazing cottage experience! While the house and lakeside dock/amenities look great in the pictures, they’re that much more amazing in person. The cottage itself was stylish, cozy and beautifully maintained, while the dockside location and vantage point is as amazing as any I’ve ever seen. Stunning, private and serene, not to mention geographically blessed. Thank you Marta for the phenomenal communication throughout, as well as for the clear love and attention you give your property. We will be back!

The cottage was clean, stylish and in a great location. The lake is not too busy. Great for skating in the winter. The cottage has great sleeping space, and lots of room to gather and eat and play games. Marta and Thomas were great hosts. There was a small issue with the water not working, but they were quick to respond and it was fixed in no time. We would definitely stay here again!

This was by far the best cottage I have rented through Airbnb. Marta’s home was clean, beautiful and so cozy for a perfect thanksgiving weekend getaway. All the touches inside the home were so stylish; clearly a lot of thought and love were put into the home. When it was sunny, we accessed the gorgeous and very secluded dock, canoe and kayak - the view from the lake is incredible. We were able to cozy up to the wood burning stove and spend the long rainy periods. Her kitchen came fully stocked and the sauna was an awesome treat after jumping into the freezing lake! The home is located 30 minutes from one of the access points of Algonquin park. Unfortunately we neglected to purchase a parking pass before the long weekend so we couldn’t access the park; however we headed to Arrowhead provincial park (40 min drive) for beautiful fall hikes. Marta was very responsive and helpful with all of our questions and concerns. We hope to come back in the summer to enjoy their dock more and hopefully try out the fire pit next time! Thanks again for a wonderful stay, and I would 100% recommend this property to anyone looking for a cozy getaway.
