We had a great weekend staying at the Gorse Horse. The house had everything we needed. It was a very comfortable space for all of the guests. The host was very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again!

Good place to stay for visiting our families. The house was a good size for 4 of us and a toddler. Probably could do with a decor tidy and a small table and chairs in the kitchen instead of the two bar seating. Beds comfy but could be bigger . Good to have the parking for two cars and an enclosed garden. However there was an awful smell when we got in ( probably drains) and it wasn’t clean, there were cobwebs everywhere even behind the kettle . The individual locks on the bedroom doors were a bit of a nuisance especially when toddlers push the doors closed. Maybe some room fans could be supplied because it was extremely hot upstairs.. good amenities dishwasher, two showers and downstairs toilet etc but some attention needed .. the price was a bit much we felt because of lack of cleanliness and the smell ..

Lovely peaceful location for a family with children, ample space for everyone. The amenities were useful such as a dish washer, bathtub and shower, washing machine. I used one of the kitchen tops to work on with my laptop and the house was large enough to do this peacefully. the shower pressure was great in the en suite. the beds were super comfy. some points which could be worked on: the codes to get in was a bit fiddley, and it took a while getting used to. each bedroom door having its own key code was not helpful with kids but I see its useful for an adults only gathering. not enough towels for us, only one towel on each bed but we were 5. other than this, it was a lovely stay.
