Mill Cottage is an ideal base for exploring south Devon. There is a lovely river to sit beside and for children to play in - it’s very safe, even for little ones. The cottage is warm and cosy and the hosts are very friendly and accommodating. Being free of internet forces you to re-engage with board games, reading and conversation! There are lots of beaches and towns to explore nearby, as well as lots of great walks - you just need to be prepared for some pretty serious hills :)

Wonderful hideaway from the world. Perfect for the dog and kids. Kitchen well stocked and books and games to play.

Fabulous quiet remote location, accessed via single track lanes, great to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Beautiful part of Devon with plenty to explore close by. Quaint accomodation, very homely setting with well equipped kitchen, plenty of books and games and very extensive local guide put together by the hosts, who were very welcoming.

We really enjoyed our stay at Mill Cottage. Gill and Iain made us feel really welcome. The instructions for finding the property were excellent and the cottage has all the amenities you would expect. Very cosy and such a beautiful location. Really good base for exploring Slapton Sands, Dartmouth/Kingswere and also Kingsbridge and Salcombe. Thanks for a really lovely few days.
