Beautiful cottage, all one could ask for! We travelled with a toddler and it was the perfect choice for a tranquil family weekend getaway! We spent half the time just playing in the garden watching the horses and glider planes! It was a lot more spacious than we expected and beautifully presented, loved the local photographs on the walls and travel books! And so warm and cosy with underfloor heating throughout! I hope we can return in summer, too!

Such a lovely place to stay, really peaceful with lovely scenery, not to mention the horses! The accommodation is ideal for a relaxing break and in a great location for driving to local towns some only 10mins away. Well worth a visit for exploring Yorkshire. Lucy was a great host, really friendly and attentive, even left us a little welcome treat 😊 thanks so much!

Last minute kind of thing. It had everything we needed with two children and a dog. we had a great time exploring everything there was on offer close-by for a quick 2 night 3 day trip. Lucy was very helpful with any questions we asked and the children were overjoyed by the little treats left on their beds.

Clean and cosy. Great location - near to Thirsk and Helmsley. Quiet area. Lounge could do with a bit more decor as sofas were a bit old and grubby looking. It could do with a fireplace or something for it to be properly cosy and to have a focal point. And the kitchen area definitely needs an update. But the bedrooms were clean and cosy. And it was a very warm cottage.
