La Casita was a great place to stay in Arlington, near Washington DC. It was cosy and clean with all amenities required to make our stay enjoyable (milk, many Keurig coffee cups, orange juice, granola cereal, popcorn, spices, etc.) Sara was always available but never intruding; we felt right at home. Sara’s garden is magnificent and well maintained. It was close to many bike paths, Safeway supermarket and take-out restaurants; we were on a bicycling vacation and we did not need to use our car for our entire stay. We would not hesitate to book again.

Sara's place is a real treasure. I can absolutely recommend to book. Private bath and kitchen available within the house. Parking possibility in front of the house, safe neighborhood. Easy to reach Washington DC with public transportation.

Cute, clean, well-equipped little space that is full of character! The breakfast snacks were a much-appreciated touch, and being so close to a supermarket came in handy. I also really liked the heater in the bathroom! It is a bit of a tight squeeze for two people to work remotely, particularly if you both want to use the dining table, but that was expected and not a hindrance. Also, it is about a 25–30-minute walk to the nearest metro station, so probably best if you have a car to get around, but doable even if you do not. Sara is very friendly and responsive. Would highly recommend this stay to all!

La Casita was perfect for me. I loved having my own little private “home” to come back to each day. Everything was clean & just as described in the photos and description. There were also several thoughtful touches with snacks, milk/cereal,k-cups, etc. I will definitely come back!
