Stunning location. Neat, clean. Kitchen had all you needed. Large group well accommodated. Love the big wooden table which seated 13 of us comfortably. Pictures are 100% on point. We will be back.

Rivers Own guest lodge is a GEM on the Bains Kloof Pass. The setting is beautiful, we swam in the river and swimming pool everyday. The pictures on Airbnb don’t show just how amazingly beautiful it is - you won’t be disappointed! The house is beautifully maintained and stocked with everything you need. Faan and Marret were excellent at sorting out any little issues we had and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was wonderful. I highly recommend making use of the optional domestic worker services - Faith was a star and made sure we could all relax and not worry about dishes and washing. I highly recommend Rivers Own as a fantastic place to spend quality time with your friends and family

Don’t think twice- just book and go. It’s a fabulous setting with everything you want and need for time away. And It’s a place that will be great in all weather conditions. we’ll be back soon!!

Perfect location to enjoy the river and surrounding nature. The house and garden are very neatly taken care of and good quality amenities like bedding and appliances and make it very comfortable for large groups. We’ve been twice and will be back!
