This is the second time we've stayed here as a group of friends and it is just lovely - I highly recommend! The place is stylishly decorated and spotless, dog friendly, has ample parking, lovely towels, logs and kindling to build a fire, and well stocked with basic cooking ingredients, tea & coffee, speaker and board games. The surroundings are beautiful and private, and a 11 min drive to Penrith with all local amenities and supplies. You can see deer in the fields and hear the geese as you relax in the hot tub. The only thing I would change would be the late check-in (4pm) and the early check-out (10am). To get more worth for our money we would have preferred to check-in at 2pm or even 3pm; and check-out at 11am. You'll see us again though, thanks so much Mark & Edenhall! :)

Absolutely loved staying here. Beautiful location, stunning property and the host was so helpful - especially when our car broke down. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Lovely place in a great location. Having the hot tub and bbq in the garden were a bonus. The place was very clean but unfortunately there were lot’s of cobwebs and spiders which hadn’t been cleaned away. Host didn’t reply to a query and I had to prompt again for a response. When I received a reply I was informed that the place had been double booked on my dates. I had no flexibility and fortunately my booking was honoured. I would recommend this place and I would definitely stay again

Excellent stay at Marks place, there was easily enough room for 6 adults and a toddler. Even when it was raining we didn’t feel cramped or on top of each other. Location is great for accessing the northern lakes, you can be at Ullswater within 20 mins. Also great access to Penrith for supermarkets etc. I would highly recommend and would stay again.
