Billiam was an excellent and gracious host. The property is gorgeous, and my husband and I really enjoyed walking the surrounding orchards with our dog. I found the mattresses great, there weren’t any indentations that accumulate from overuse. I didn’t see any goats, but I enjoyed watching their chickens (FYI, you will hear roosters crowing, so bring earplugs if you want to sleep in). Thank you Billiam!

A gorgeous spot, close to hiking and wonderful places to buy farm fresh food. Billiam was an extraordinary host, taking the time to leave bread and fresh eggs, and checking in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. Lovely to hear the chickens in the backyard throughout the day. My doggie and I had a wonderful stay!!

After quarantining safely at our respective locations in New York City and getting SARS-CoV-2 tested, our group of six was able to stay a week at Billiam’s lovely home. Billiam was a very hands-on host: he met us on arrival and was on the property in some shape or form everyday. He was very inviting and eager to help. Our communications were sometimes sporadic once we were there but I suspect this is because he was extremely busy—and he would always clear things up in time. The house is cozy and the six of us shared work space in and outside of the house comfortably. The upstairs has ac in every room and stays quite cool. The kitchen and downstairs does get pretty warm when using the oven and stove (keeping in mind this is August). Since it is an old house it has its fair share of old house quirks like funky light switch panels, lots of seemingly breakable antiques, sensitive stove burners, and the occasional spider. But overall the house is very comfortable. The property surrounding the house is beautiful with trees, flowers, fields, and orchards. We had bonfires nearly every night which was a particular treat. Billiam and co were able to provide us with produce from this farmland a couple times as well. Because it is a working farm and event venue there are a handful of people other than Billiam that work at or visit the property on an everyday basis. We thank Billiam and all the folks that made it possible for our stay!
