Gail is one of the nicest, most responsive and accommodating hosts we have ever had. She had a very nicely organized list of how to’s!! Which we were glad to review once in a while. Beautiful, beautiful place to stay!!
Stayed at the Quarry House with my husband, brother and pet over the Holidays and it was a lovely space to call our own away from sometimes hectic family celebrations! The view was just spectacular in all weather, and the house was a very comfortable little haven. Gail was just wonderful to deal with - super responsive and welcoming. Thanks so much for sharing this beautiful space!
I couldn’t have asked for a more breathtaking view to wake up to every morning. My dog, Burrito, and I traveled to the midcoast for peace and solitude and the Quarry House delivered. There are countless walking and hiking trails within a short distance. We explored Owl’s Head, Birch Point, and went to catch the sunset at Marshall Point lighthouse. Rockland is less than 20 minutes away and walking the breakwater is beautiful. Gail was very helpful and communicative with suggestions of things to do in the area and answered any questions I had very quickly. Don’t hesitate to book your stay. It’s worth every penny.
The house was very clean and Gail was super responsive to our questions. The views are incredible and are a huge part of what is nice about this rental. The accommodations are basic but not bad, we felt it was a good value for the money.
Gail’s rental was delightful. Besides being a comfortable, clean home, the place has a view that is too beautiful for words. We loved it. Would highly recommend it for anyone wanting to stay in the Rockland area! Many thanks!!

Work hard, play hard. I am the wife of a lobstermen and a mother of a daughter that grew up a fisherwomen and has moved on to be a CPA. I love my life in a small fishing village. We work from sun up to sun down. We also have a seasonal seafood take out restaurant. I get to visit with new people from around the world everyday and love it. But what I enjoy the most is sometimes I build life long relationship with these people. I look forward each year to seeing old and new friends. Now with the rental we get to add to the opportunity.
