A great few days away in Yorkshire. The weather was reasonably kind to us and we were able to use the house as a base for various trips up and down the coast including to Whitby, Robin Hood’s Bay and the Falling Foss Tea Garden, all of which are worth a look! The house delivered everything we needed it to. It was large enough for all seven of us and was warm and cosy (though we had an unexplained hot water fail for some reason, however this was mitigated by the electric shower, thankfully, and Karen was very communicative about the issue throughout - it didn’t affect or impact our stay at all). We booked and ate at the two pubs in Staithes during our stay which were also perfectly acceptable and there are many walks and opportunities to explore the area, up and down the hills. Expect to have your heart rate raised a few times 🙂. We enjoyed the walk up and down the hill to the car park, and having at least one space provided was useful. We paid for the 2nd space, but that’s ok!

Staithes is a beautiful village, with a small beach. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Ideally situated on the high street. A really good base. Close to both pubs and very close to sea. House was big enough so we weren’t on top of each other all the time. Cosy at night with the Xmas tree still up. A bit noisy on a morning with people and traffic if you were in front bedroom but it was on the high street! Karen responded quick to any queries which was great. A bit pricey for 3 nights but we all had an amazing family time here - thanks Karen x

Lovely, spacious and recently refurbished house in the beautiful seaside town of Staithes. Great location with beautiful outlook over the beck. Comfortable, warm and clean. Great base for exploring the local area.
