A really lovely cottage - has everything you need and nice and clean. It was chilly when we were there but the heating works well. Nice to have a parking permit and not to have to worry about paying!

If you’re looking for a cosy and quaint cottage in Staithes, this is the place. Belle Beck cottage is located right in the heart of Staithes, but is situated on a backstreet for that extra peace and quiet. All parts of the village can be accessed on foot in no more than 5 minutes. The cottage has all the facilities required for a short break, and is more than spacious enough for 3-4 people. A couple of points to note: - you are not guaranteed a parking space in the designated car park, even with the parking permit provided - we had to wait 10-15 minutes for a space to become available - the shower is a bit of a hassle for anyone over about 5ft 11inches, given the low ceiling! - it’s an old cottage so noise travels! There was occasional footsteps and music noise from the cottage above, and the exposed floorboards in tue master bedroom means that the noise travels down into the living room. Overall, a very nice stay!

A cosy cottage, family and pet friendly in a beautiful location. The front yard is a lovely sun trap in the afternoon, a beautiful spot to have a glass of wine after a day on the beach.

We’ve just returned from a fabulous weekend staying at Bellebeck, it met all of our needs, was within walking distance of all the amenities in Staithes, and was welcoming for both our little dogs. There was some music noise late on Saturday evening from the house upstairs but it didn’t spoil our stay. It was windy during our stay and the sash window in the double room rattled a lot, a simple wedge of paper solution worked 😊. Thanks Amanda
