Really cute little cottage. Loved it, super cosy. Kitchen was well equipped. Handy to get around. 10/10 would stay again.
What a lovely cottage! It was like stepping back in time; the open fire and exposed beams to the ceiling in the living room are so lovely, and the place is full of character. The cottage is in a prime location, with lots to do around; Kilver Gardens is a must see, it was simply spectacular!! Aggie left very clear instructions that were easy to follow, and it was so refreshing to be somewhere with no telly, even if my mother in law was a bit shocked haha! We even (respectfully) took advantage of the piano, and managed to teach myself a few melodies, which I thoroughly enjoyed and am determined to carry on with back home. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!
Quaint and characterful little cottage, with a lovely charm especially sat in front of the glowing log burner. Everything you need. Great not to have a Telly ! Refreshing change !
My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Aggie’s cosy and comfortable cottage. It was exactly as described and what we were looking for and Aggie was an excellent host - great communication and directions so the cottage and parking were easy to find. Would highly recommend.
This is not a hotel, it’s a home. This is akin to a friend giving you their keys whilst they are away for a few days. You sense the owners in every room and don’t need to wonder about what they might be like because their life, their tastes, their quirks are all around you. We loved it. If you are looking for pristine, don’t look here. If you need tiny bottles of cheap all in one body wash and shampoo to snaffle home with you, don’t book here. This is a lived in place, with art on the walls, and mismatched crockery. But there were chocolates and bedtime books to welcome our children. Ground coffee and granola for the morning, and oils, herbs and spices for our meals, to nurture our bodies and souls. The towels were soft and big. The beds comfy and dressed as they would be at home. The road is very real so watch it with kids but noise wasn’t a problem. This is a home away from home, with a welcoming fire. This was very much our scene and to our taste. We loved it.

Aggie lives in Somerset with her husband Paddy and baby Polly. She and Paddy are musicians and love to travel. When they're not at home, they're either in South East Asia where they spend several months a year, or just around the corner staying with family.
