We had a great time here. All of us enjoyed the comfort of this home. It is a home away from home feel. Love it that In the morning we get to watch the sunrise and sunset in the evening. Would consider this place again someday. Highly recommended.

5 STARS! Host was amazing, friendly, quick to respond with any questions or concerns. The second day of our stay we had no hot water, Kristine promptly took car of it. Sent out handy man to replace the hot water heater. Was no inconvenience at all. Kayak with life jackets, boogie boards, abundance of beach towels, grill, outside furniture, beautiful views, short distance to Hale'iwa which had cute shops and restaraunts, short trek to Volcom Bonzai surfing competition, food trucks, amazing views and beaches (although most beaches we couldn't swim in due to time of year), NO BUGS, had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. No A/C but every room had ceiling fan and plenty of wall fans to keep us comfortable. There were 8 of us, the only time we felt crowded was when us 4 adults tried helping in the kitchen! Host allowed us to use anything we needed in the house. Home was very cozy and welcoming, including decor- very cute and tasteful. We saw turtles on a daily basis from the yard. Highly recommend this home for a small family who wants to hang close to home.

If you’re looking for a peaceful and relaxing vacation, the cottage on the beach is perfect. The location is away from the Honolulu crowds, but within an hour to an hour and a half of anything you want to do or see. The beach is literally steps out the back door and is almost like a private beach, as there are very few people. You fall asleep at night to the sound of the waves crashing on the beach. This is not some sterile rental-only place, this is the Host’s personal retreat that they graciously share. As an added bonus, they provide a list of recommendations of things to do and see. The accommodations are cozy (the personal touches, family pictures, and cute décor really make you feel at home), clean, and well appointed – the Host’s willingly share everything that is there from beach towels to boogie boards to snorkel gear. I can’t say enough good things about our stay there – truly rejuvenating. We will definitely go back!
