South Twin Lake · 整套小木屋 · 2室5床2.0卫 · 可住6人 · Cozy Lakeside Cabin, Mountain Views, Hiking Nearby
Stay in the main Cabin, Garage Apartment or both! Cabin has full kitchen, king bed, full bath, sitting area and large deck overlooking the water's edge. The apartment is on the 2nd floor w/queen bed, full bed and bunk bed, full bath and room to lounge. Opportunity to relax, play pool or ping pong, fish or boat right from the property or explore the Baxter State Park region and 5 interconnecting Lakes within the Northern Maine Woods. Millinocket is only 15 minutes. ATV and walking trails closeby. The property is relatively flat with the exception of the area behind the garage that is quite steep and has a dock in place during June-October. Large pine trees surround the camp but you'll have unlimited visibility of the lake. Most of the neighbors are far enough away to provide privacy but you'll be in open view of anyone on the lake in their boats. It's usually not very busy on the lake, you'll see some pontoon boats, kayakers or jet skiers but it's generally quiet. Across the lake you'll see Mount Katahdin and the foothills. To the East you'll see the sunrise and to the West, the sunset. The main cabin is shaped like a treehouse. The main house has a master bedroom and bathroom, full kitchen and living area with sliding doors to the deck where you can sit lakeside. You'll get the feeling of being on a houseboat inside the camp because it sits so close to the shoreline. The garage is not far from the camp. On the second floor is a finished space with a full bathroom, bunkbed, 1 queen and 1 full sized beds as well as additional seating. Downstairs in the garage there is plenty of seating, a pool table, ping pong table and vintage arcade game. If you love being outdoors, you'll enjoy the property quite a bit as there are several walk in beaches that freeze in the winter,--usually by January you'll be able to snowmobile, snowshoe or cross country ski across the lake. Great spot for fishing all year round! Often you'll see ducks, eagles, loons and other varieties of birds flying around and landing on the lake. Rate based on double occupancy. If there is more than 1 guest, we will ask how many beds you'll need made up.
We had an absolutely LOVELY time here. My friends and I came up north for some vacation time and to see the total solar eclipse. The location couldn’t have been more perfect. Besides the (awe-inspiring) eclipse moment, the location is gorgeous. The house is right on the lake, with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. We were there in the springtime, so it was extra quiet and peaceful, exactly what I was looking for after stressful months at work. The lake was partially frozen, and we got to see a bald eagle settle on the ice to have a snack! There are super delish breweries in the nearby towns, and a great grocery store. Having a car with decent clearance underneath, and AWD is super helpful. Be prepared to drive at least 30-45min (round trip) when going into town. The cabin was cozy, the kitchen had all the tools we needed, and the garage is a blast. We played a lot of pool haha. I would absolutely stay here again, maybe a Fall trip!
We enjoyed our stay. It’s on the water. Beautiful sun sets and sun rises. House was clean and well stocked. Many nice touches throughout the camp. Would come back again.
We had a great stay, cabin was cozy, comfortable and well equipped . Beautiful spot right on the water, had everything we needed to relax and unwind. Host was very responsive. We will definitely be back!
This camp is absolutely gorgeous. Plenty of room for guests. They had everything there that you could want to enjoy the lake. 10/10 would go back.
Located in the Turkey Tail Subdivision. Camps are nicely kept and well maintained. The property is located about 2 miles from Five Lakes Lodge.
Greystone Lane is 2 miles down Turkey Tail Road, a gravel road extending from Route 11, a paved public road. The road is wide and flat and the speed limit is 20 mph. Turkey Tail can be biked or walked but beware that there is traffic and the road can be quite dusty.

I've lived and worked in mid-coast Maine for a majority of my life, graduating from high school in the mid 90s and college as an adult. My family consists of my partner of 11 years and a very spoiled 5 year old American Bully. I enjoy my work as a Realtor but find joy in yoga, nature walks, playing in the dirt, socializing with good food and drinks, and listening to speakers like Zach Bush or Joe Dispenza, their work is so fascinating!
