We went up for the 2024 eclipse. The location was great and perfect for our family. Great location on the lake but our stay was in April so couldn’t get into the water. It was awesome to be near the lake with the fire pit roaring. Easy access to Kathadin area as well.

Really beautiful area on the lake. The house was as promised in the photos and extremely clean which is a big plus in my book! It even smelled clean. Plenty of room for our family. We enjoyed it so much that we never even ventured out! I would definitely stay again. B was a gracious hostess.

The area was beautiful and peaceful. The listing stated they had a stand-up paddle board, which they did but it was more of a kid's size. We used the kayaks. If you paddle or kayak around the cove, there are perfect views of Mt. Kathadin. We comfortably slept 6 adults in the camp and felt the inside was comfortable and well kept. I would highly recommend bringing water shoes or flip flops for the dock area as it is too rocky for bare feet. With shoes, the swimming is really nice. You cannot drink the water out of the faucet so make sure you bring bottled. The camp has a Keurig coffee maker only. I travel with my brewed coffee maker and the camp had plenty of filters and coffee.

The location of the house on the lake is very nice. Several matters to note. The lock box was located on the door of the house, not on the garage side area as was described. The master bedroom needs to have a window air conditioner, it was very warm at night. The vertical blinds need to be replaced, several of the slats were missing and this provides no privacy from the sun room. Also, animal proof trash cans are needed. Every morning, we picked up trash from a very skilled animal. Other than these issues, we enjoyed our stay on this beautiful lake and would recommend it.
