nice place to stay. great private parking and spacious yard. air conditioning only in the rooms tho. they supply a few fans to cool the place but main house was very hot. Wi-Fi was working 50% of the time. weak signal. Will connect but with no internet. house needs a few upgrades

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay at The Wooden House. It has a very cozy and homey vibe. The main living area and kitchen are very spacious, the beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms are nice and clean. The Wooden House team is also responsive and allowed us to check-in an hour early. Location is also good since it’s near popular restaurants and cafes in surf town, as well as a few sari-sari stores. Even though we were along the main road, the house is relatively private and peaceful. We’ll definitely book The Wooden House on our next trip to LU! Something to take note of is that it can get hot inside the house during the late morning to mid afternoon (the air conditioners took a while to cool our bedrooms when we checked-in), so best to open the front door and windows to let air in

Was as described! A bit noisy as next to a busy road, but that didn’t bother us too much. 10 min walk away from the beach and restaurants. Trike stop right at the door, so easy to get around. The hosts were very helpful and responsive!

Wooden House truly made our last-minute anniversary trip worth it! The house was incredibly spacious for us two and our dog, everything was spotless when we arrived, and our stay was such a breeze because the host was super helpful & responsive all the way through our stay. It’s walking distance to the beach and all of Surftown’s best places, but it’s also right beside a tricycle terminal for those who’d like to take one to explore instead. Safety was at 100% because the area is quiet + there were multiple locks everywhere. It was our first time in LU and staying here made is such a homey, peaceful, and memorable experience. We’ll definitely be back here if we find ourselves visiting LU again. Thank you very much again for accommodating our little family, Wooden House! 💖
