I can’t say enough good things about this location as well as the hosts. The place was equipped with everything our pup and us may have needed. Hosts did the extra things that make you feel so welcomed. This place was also impressively clean. Pond and surroundings were absolutely beautiful. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone!

Had a wonderful experience! Instructions sent prior to arrival, were easy to follow. We loved the personal touches that were left for us, they were very welcoming. This home was remote and peaceful but still close enough to enjoy Lake Moomaw and the different hikes in the area. Maps and brochures of different activities and restaurants led to some great finds. Being able to enjoy the Jefferson Pools was one of our highlights, with is only being a 20 minute ride away. I would definitely recommend staying here and can’t wait for our next trip out to the River Run Retreat!
