Well, the stay at this property was good. Uncle and Aunty at the property were very supportive in all the ways and Inga helped us in every way to support us and ensure that we face less challenge while staying at her property. Overall, the place is in between Udupi and Mangaluru, hence, it was easily commutable.

Pros: Inga is responsive in terms of communication. Her FIL who’s the host at home is a thorough gentleman. Cons: The house doesn’t really match the description. It has a musty smell though looks visibly clean. The room is too stuffy and very cluttered with excessive things. The room in the ground floor has a shared bathroom with Indian commode which is not mentioned in the listing. If you’re okay with a below average place to stay this must be okay. I’m quite particular about basic hygiene so it didn’t suit my need. I had to coordinate with Airbnb n get the booking cancelled after seeing the place and hunt for another place to stay in the n-th moment. The worst nightmare realised on a weekend getaway.

Inga's in-laws stay here. We took 2 AC rooms. One is downstairs with a separate bathroom, the other is upstairs with an attached bathroom. 5/5 - for the home itself, their hospitality and warmth, uncle's responsive guidance to reach the place and aunty's sumptuous breakfast. 2/5 - for the fact that they had other guests do an early check in before our checkout. While this is completely fine/normal, what is not ok is that we were blindsided. I feel we should've been informed about it, so we could've planned our morning better. The ground floor bathroom was henceforth not fully available to us in the morning. Otherwise, they have a great collection of books, games and some antique pieces. You'll instantly feel at home.
