The stay at Marleens place is completly different compared to usual stays. The hut is beautiful and in the middle of the jungle. So you will see a lot of animals, like beautifull butterflies or hummingbirds directly when you wake up. On the other hand you have to deal with insects and spiders, especially on the path to Marleens place. If you are the adventurer type, this is for you. For us, it was a bit challenging. Furthermore the place has no electricity, what didnt bother us much. It was very nice to sit with Marleen and other guests in the candle light and talk or cook. It felt like a little family. Talking with Marleen can be special. She's a very friendly and educated person, but has some very extremistic opinions that were (for me) hard to deal with. All in all, it was a great and special experience that I would not miss. All the best, Marleen!

Endroit exceptionnel. La nature est vraiment superbe. On peux observer toutes sortes d'animaux, de plantes et de fleurs depuis la cabane. C'est une expérience à part entière que vous n'êtes pas prêts d'oublier ! Très bons restaurants à proximité. À ne pas rater !

Was für eine einmalige Erfahrung! Marleen hat uns herzlich aufgenommen und alles für einen tollen Aufenthalt bereitgestellt. Es war einfach wunderbar, nachts mit den Grillen und Fröschen einzuschlafen und morgens mitten im Dschungel mit den Brüllaffen aufzuwachen! Zu dem tollen Aufenthalt gehörten auch die schöne Gemeinschaftsküche, das leckere Frühstück und eine eigene Outdoor-Dusche unter dem Baumhaus. Marleen hat uns auch gute Tipps für Aktivitäten außerhalb des Dschungels (Restaurants, Strände, Fahrradverleih) gegeben. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen :)
