Heather’s cottage fit our party of4 & 2 dogs perfectly. We had enough room for all, kitchen was stocked, and fenced back yard was great. I recommend it to other dog lovers.

The cottage was perfect for two couples. Super clean. Though we didn’t cook, the kitchen is very well equipped. Morning coffee in the little back porch was really nice. We wanted to be a bit closer we to town, but the drive is very short drive. I especially appreciate how responsive Heather was to my questions. Many thanks!

Cutest little place! It had everything we needed to be comfortable. It was an easy drive from downtown Hudson and from the wedding venue we attended. We had a fabulous stay and would definitely recommend this place.

The inside of the cottage was nice, comfortable and clean. For us there were 2 negatives. On booking the cottage I wrote that we were coming for a family wedding. Upon arrival, the closet in the master bedroom was locked and there was no clothes bar in the closet of the secondary bedroom. I texted Heather and she said she hadn’t gotten the rod installed and to hang dress clothes over bathroom and bedroom doors… not ideal. Also the dresser in the master bedroom was full of clothes… so there was no where to unpack. A bit off-putting. Little things but still important. The exterior of the cottage was tired but Heather indicated she was in the middle of doing so rehabilitation on it.

This lovely bungalow is perfectly situated for touring the Hudson River Valley with plenty of fun sites in every direction. If you have your favorite canine with you, as we did, it is just right. The Empire State Trail is a short distance away and is perfect for walking your pup. The bungalow was comfortable and clean, and the fenced back yard was a nice addition. Heather shows good taste in decorating her home. If we are back in the area we would stay here again.
