Booked this for my parents and they loved it. friendly greeting. lodge very comfortable and spacious. very convenient for southwold and surrounding coastline. Clean. this was an ideal place to stay. very warm,homely feel.

Debra is a wonderful host, very responsive and flexible. She gave us very clear instructions on how to get there, and was there to greet us. She left some bits for breakfast— eggs, yogurt, juice, bread, butter— which were very appreciated. She was a stone’s throw away if there was any need, but otherwise we felt we had a very private space which we could enjoy. The outside patio is particularly lovely to relax in and listen to the birds as the sun goes down. The location is perfect if you’re keen to do some exploring of the coast— only a 10 minute drive to Dunwich beach and you can see sunrise over the ocean. Very well situated for other bits of Suffolk.

I stayed for my work in the area and if was a great choice. Peaceful and quiet. It was very clean and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay including yoghurt and eggs and fresh bread for breakfast which was very thoughtful.
