Folks this place is magical. Be prepared for remote living and amazing wildlife around you all the time and anytime. It’s a special place and you will have an experience of a lifetime. The spider monkeys were all around everyday. We didn’t see any white face monkeys but birds, butterflies, coatis and many more. Scarlet macaws in the almond tree at the back of the house. The howler monkeys at night were my absolute favourite memory. If you want to go fishing, surfing or just sit in a chair by the ocean. Make it what you want. There is something for everyone. Tip.. it’s true..Bin your food and be prepared for wildlife in your place as well. All part of the experience. It’s the best treehouse experience I’ve ever had and it will take a lot to top it. Carlos is a gem and cares about his environment deeply and is very responsive. You are in good hands. I highly recommend this place.

The location was beautiful. We had 3 grand kids and my daughter, who do not do well in the heat. As advertised, there was no AC. But we were not prepared for the extreme heat and humidity. Two rooms had large fans, but two did not. The hosts were extremely responsive to our needs, but we had to leave early for AC accommodations. My son in law and I stayed an extra day. They have a person there on the property, who took us surfing, and was very accommodating as well. He and I were not particularly stressed by the heat. The hosts reimbursed us for a day. I was sorry to leave

Overall exactly as advertised, although we were surprised by the bats living in the room with bunk beds. Carlos was extremely helpful and very responsive, he was able to help us find whatever we needed in terms of things to do etc

Casa Dos Rios is a piece of heaven on earth. We have been here 3 times and every time we have enjoyed the flora and fauna and fabulous location. Also great to have Martina’s right behind the property and another restaurant within a 10 minute drive. Ronald was a fabulous stand in host for Carlos! An excellent stay.
