Jen was great with clear and frequent communication both before we arrived and whenever a problem arose. She and the family have made a great start toward their dream space and we can't wait to see it come to fruition. Definitely take them up on offers of adventures like fishing and visiting the Zapatillas...and make sure you have plenty of groceries for your stay! 😃

Visiting Toucan Bay is an amazing experience for adventurous families. We saw dozens of toucans, flocks of parrots, hummingbirds, morpho butterflies, and sloths, and kayaked with dolphins in the bay. We also had an incredible time getting to know the neighbors from the Ngobe indigenous community. Our daughter loved swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, playing on Toucan Bay's trampoline and zipline, and practicing her Spanish with the neighbor children and we all enjoyed making Panamanian tamales and coconut bread on a fire and learning to paddle a cayuco (traditional dugout canoe). We loved Jen's animals, including her friendly dogs, sweet cat, pigs, and cute piglets, and going on adventures by boat. Our family will always remember our experience at Toucan Bay.

We had so much fun with Jen and her family! They had great recommendations and were just overall great hosts! Bonus! Her kids helped entertain my kid! It was great!! Lol! Thanks again for a great trip! Hasta la proxima vez!

Jenn and Chris were amazing and accommodating hosts. This was our first venture into Panama as well as any latin America country except Mexico. Jen had a whole list of adventures for us to choose from, gave my wife a professional massage, and went above and beyond in sharing the surrounding islands and all of their beauty with us. Basically an awesome tour guide. Our families got along great and we have new international friends. We will be back to visit soon. If you have kiddos and want to venture out, this is the place to do it!!!

Da wir mit unseren Kindern angereist sind (9 und 7) und Jennifers Kinder in ähnlichem Alter waren, hatten sie gleich Spielkameraden und haben sich gut verstanden. Das war perfekt für uns, da so nie Langeweile aufkam. Jen hat uns tolle Inputs für Ausflüge gegeben und viel mit uns unternommen. Es war so, wie wir uns AirBnB vorstellen, nämlich, das Leben der Einwohner kennenzulernen. Auch die Kinder haben in der kurzen Zeit (1 Woche) begonnen Englisch und Spanisch zu sprechen: z. b. Grüßen und zählen. Auf dem Grundstück kann man viel entdecken: farbenprächtige Blumen, Schmetterlinge und Vögel, z.B. Papageie. Ein Kolibri kam ganz nahe. Eine Bananenspinne, Rochen, Fische und Delfine kann man beobachten. Eine Dschungelwanderung ist möglich und eine mini Ananasplange gibt es auch! Nur das Faultier hatte sich zu gut versteckt. Man kann mit den Kajaks die Umgebung erkunden, aber man ist auf das Motorboot angewiesen, andere Insel zu besuchen. Es war ein richtiger Abenteuerurlaub.
