I had a great stay at Vigil's place, she's an amazing host. Clean, comfortable bed and a good kitchen. Great value and close to Central Park.

When I first arrived at this Airbnb in Harlem, I wasn't sure what to expect. The neighborhood had a cozy vibe, and the convenience of having a laundromat next door was a plus. However, what transformed my stay from ordinary to extraordinary was not just the place itself, but the time spent with our host, Vigil. Living in the same house, Vigil was not only attentive to keeping the home safe and clean but also shared her space with an open heart. Initially, I hadn't anticipated the depth of the conversations we would have. Vigil, a writer full of insight and wisdom, engaged me in discussions that felt like a lifetime's worth of learning. These weren't just casual chats; they were profound exchanges that challenged my perspectives and enriched my understanding of life. This experience was far from what I had expected. It was an opportunity to live as a local, yes, but more importantly, it was a chance to grow and learn in ways, which every travelers would seek at the end of the day.

Il s'agit de mon second séjour chez Vigil. J'ai préféré cette chambre par rapport à ma dernière chambre ("cosy and quiet room") car elle est plus grande et plus lumineuse. La fenêtre laisse passer un peu de bruit et de froid, mais cela reste tout à fait acceptable. L'appartement est propre, bien situé et Vigil est très réactive et conciliante sur les heures d'arrivée et de départ.

Close enough to the train station to be convenient, and near all the Harlem icons like the Apollo, Harlem Shake, Sylvia's, and so forth. Deli, laundromat, and Chinese takeout right around the corner and open till late.
