Great prviate garden and very friendly. Unfortunately the smallest room has no AC and attached bathroom. The shower head did not work well. Except for these, everything was perfect.

Such a charming villa with an amazing private pool and lovely gardens! We loved our stay at the Medusa Bungalow. Amilani is an excellent host and very helpful. The breakfast (paid additional) is outstanding and huge in portions. We were offered a vegan option, which was much appreciated. The villa is very spacious. There are 3 bedrooms (2 with king beds +1 single bedroom). The kitchen is fully equipped. The sit-out dining table in the gardens is a lovely addition. The pool and the gardens are incredible and very well maintained. You need a car to move around. The place is about 25 mins from the Unawatuna beach. Thank you for the wonderful stay and some lovely memories!!

Stellar accommodations all around. A lovingly crafted home, with all the charm and beauty of an old villa, while seamlessly incorporating modern utilities. While not walking distance to the beach, a perfect sanctuary to return to after a long day in the saddle and sun. Definitely worth making the effort it takes to get to the Dutch Fort, or Dalawella beach, and would 10/10 recommend getting a few days (or more) in at the Medusa Bungalow. Its location is a little cooler than down on the coast, so it’s perfect if you like to swim at night and enjoy the open windows while you sleep. You will not be disappointed, I promise you that.

The Medusa Bungalow was undoubtedly one of the best AirBnBs I’ve visited. The place is amazing overall, very convenient to reach, and has an amazing host. We really liked the pool and all the amenities that came up with the place and definitely recommend the place.

We really enjoyed our stay at Medusa! The pool exceeded expectations, and the rooms were cozy and the entire villa is just as shown in the photos. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful too.
