A group of 8 of us stayed at the Hebron House for the 2024 Eclipse and it was absolutely perfect! My biggest concern was all of us fitting comfortably with so many people. The downstairs has an open concept layout and there was tons of space to accommodate all of us without any issue. A first floor bedroom/bathroom was nice for one of the couples that preferred not to tackle the stairs. All the bedrooms were roomy and the beds were comfortable. The house was incredibly clean, and having a deck was a huge bonus. We didn't get a chance to use the fire pit due to the snow but it's in a convenient location. It was also nice to be able to just walk right to dinner/shops in town. Shawn and Laura were very responsive when communicating. The town of Monson was a pleasant surprise, having great restaurants and hosting a resident artist community. We also enjoyed a snowy hike at the Borestone Mountain Audubon Sanctuary. The whole trip far exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend!

Great place to stay and was perfect for our group of 8 for the long weekend. Walking distance to the restaurants and the general store were a plus.

A wonderful and relaxing stay. The house was perfectly located on a beautiful lake in quaint Monson, Maine. We enjoyed the town's art galleries, delicious food and an easy hike along the Appalachian Trail. We would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful weekend stay. The house itself is beautiful and well appointed. It was cozy and we felt right at home. Everything was clean and spotless, and it's clear that the owners take pride in the property. Check-in and check-out were simple and easy. It's a quiet area with beautiful surroundings, and not far from nearby attractions such as Moosehead Lake. There is a good restaurant practically next door, and a general store with everything else you need just a 2-minute walk away. I've stayed at a few Airbnb properties in the area, but I would definitely recommend this one if it's available.
