The Walled Garden is a large newly renovated family and dog friendly bungalow. It has a large walled and fenced garden and covered patio centrally located in the historic village of Long Melford. The property is a 5 minutes walk from shops, pubs, art galleries, antique shops etc. Ideally located for exploring the many local walks and cycle routes or day trips to the Suffolk coast or surrounding medieval villages The bungalow is spacious and boasts underfloor heating and an open fire. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped. The large covered patio and hybrid charcoal/gas barbecue allows for al fresco dining in the warmer months. A high chair, baby bath and cot are also available

Louie is a great guy responsive and helpful. The place was spacious and well kept and just what we needed for a relaxing stay
Louie was a friendly and very helpful host and property was clean and tidy. Property is ideally situated to look around the region and there are plenty of places to eat within walking distance of the place.
We really enjoyed our stay at the walled garden. Louie was a great host with an easy check in and check out, and local tips. Location was perfect for us to explore the area and visit family. And it was great to be just off Long Melford main high street with pubs, shops and lovely walks close by. Thanks Louie!
A lovely 3 nights for a party of 6.. 3 adults,one teen,6 and 3 year old. A lovely place and felt right at home. Nice and secure and play equipment was a good hit with the children. Will definitely be back when visiting friends near by. Thanks for having us.

The Walled Garden is situated in the centre of historic Long Melford, but is at the bottom of a driveway, so although quiet and peaceful is close to many shops, pubs, tea rooms etc
There is private off-road parking for two vehicles and also free parking on the high-street. BUT please no vehicles the size of a transit van or bigger. the driveway is narrow and turning in the parking bays very difficult for large vehicles. There is free parking available on the high street.
There are frequent buses to Sudbury, the local town and hourly buses to Lavenham and Bury St Edmunds. Long Melford has a network of footpaths and many minor roads suitable for cycling.
