Beautiful spot on the Baru river with toucans and hummingbirds right in your backyard. River water is clean and clear, great place to hang out and stay cool mid-day. Secluded and private but very safe thanks to security system and an attentive caretaker; also appreciated being able to park our rental car in the attached garage. The house itself is clean and bright, with two bedrooms/bathrooms well-separated from each other by a large open kitchen/sitting area,; also a lovely deck with small pool, all nestled in the trees with view of the river. Lots of beautiful beaches and excellent restaurants nearby. And to top if all off, we had terrific hosts: Roberto and Diane were very helpful and responsive throughout the entire rental process, it was a pleasure dealing with them and being able to enjoy this beautiful property.

Wonderful place right on the Baru River. Quick drive to dominical for the beach or grab a chair and sit in the river. Would absolutely go back!!!

We had a lovely stay at the home on the river. You couldn’t ask for a more peaceful setting, overlooking the Baru, while also only being an easy 10 minute drive into Dominical. The home had all of the amenities that you need and was great for everyone- the adults, a dog, and our two year old. They were able to get fiber optic internet installed right before the trip and we were easily able to work, take video calls, and stream which is an added plus. Roberto and Diana were lovely hosts and very responsive to all of our needs, concerns, and requests.
