I had two $20 bills stolen from my wallet in my room on two separate occasions during my 9 day stay. There were only 2-3 people who it could have been, yet the host did not help me to find out who did it. They just denied that it could have been stolen and left it at that. There is a housekeeper, but she never once cleaned common spaces (kitchen, bathroom, dining area, the deck, etc.) at any point during my stay. The kitchen and bathrooms were especially unkempt. I am not sure what she actually did. There were a bunch of quirks that made for an uncomfortable time getting around. The house has a ton of these. Many of these concern amenities and are thus fixable. e.g. The trash bin is outside on a deck, just outside of the kitchen, and beyond doors that are meant to remain locked. There were no bins inside, and then the bins are only emptied once a week. The area in general in decently walkable, and the room was very clean upon arrival. This has to be the one highlight of this place.

Upon arriving at the house, you’ll immediately notice the house is gated, which give you a sense of security. Too add to that, there’s plenty of exterior cameras for peace of mind. Once inside, the house is clean, warm, and peaceful. It almost felt like i had the house to myself, it was so quiet, which was nice as I work nights for Amazon. Bathroom in the hallway was well decorated with tile, the bed had luxurious hotel-esque sheets and comforter, and an updated TV as well. The home owners were nice enough to place a room heater in the room and turned on already to offset the chilly outdoor weather when I arrived. Would definitely stay again, or recommend others to give Getinet as an option when choosing a room. Thank you Getinet for letting us stay at your home.
