We had a great stay at fish inn! We loved exploring the area from this base. It had everything we needed and we felt comfortable there. Dayville is a gem!

David responded to all my messages promptly. He is friendly, and he let us check in after 8 pm because we needed to drive a long way from Portland Oregon and to have our dinner. We saw him waiting for our arrival in the yard when we arrived. The next morning, his wife told us that the restaurant next door has good pies, and that we can get a free slice of pie if we bring back the glass pie pan. So, not only we could enjoy our delicious lunches 2 days in a row, but we also had a whole and a (Free) slice of pies. This is a homey Airbnb with serene surroundings. There is a gigantic cherry tree right by the building, and David let us try some. We heard from another guest that they have a ping pong table in their large barn. Though we didn’t get a chance to check that out before we left.

We loved it, so clean and cozy, very tastefully furnished. Wished we could have stayed longer, it's the perfect place to stay overnight to explore John Day Fossil Beds a couple of days on the way from Corvallis to Missoula.

Very cute place to stay in the quiet town of Dayville. A perfect homebase for exploring the nearby John Day National Monument. Thanks and look forward to staying again sometime in the future!
