Lovely stay. Fun yard for the kids. Lots of snack options. Good rooms. Good WiFi. All the amenities. Only 2 issues were several snack items were passed expiration date and individual coffee creamers were goopy separated mess. Also minor an infestation in kitchen. Sure those 2 items will be addressed before the next stay.

Comfortable home situated central to the all three units in the John Day area. Others mention the lack of cell service is some areas so be certain to have your maps, etc. saved or printed. Brochures were not available at the Painted Hills Unit (our first stop). We spent day one at Painted Hills, day two at Sheep Rock and day three, Clarno Unit. All three very beautiful. Patti's attention to detail is remarkable. The snacks, beverages, and breakfast items were very much appreciated.

Excellent accommodation for visiting this area... private, peaceful, comfortable. Thoughtfully considered and appointed -- exceptional kitchen and snack items! Town was still mostly closed for the "season." The local cafe open Weds-Sun -- it was exceptional. Very friendly town and neighbors. An overall great stay.

We had a great stay here! The house was in a good location for exploring the John Day Fossil Beds, and it was close to amenities such as a mini-mart and cafe. The house was well stocked (some of the items left for snacks & condiments were out of date, but overall the house was very well stocked). We would stay here again if in the area!

Patti's spot in Dayville was a great landing pad for our adventures in the John Day Fossil Beds. The home was cozy and exactly as described, and it was a mellow walk to the cafe down the street for a slice of pie or breakfast.
