Such a great welcoming escape! It's hard to find a place within the park near all the beauty of the area and this was the perfect spot. It was cozy with the fire and sitting on the patio at sunset and sunrise was something very special.

Nice cabin 5 miles off OR-19. Very quiet, super nice windows all around and beautiful view. The cabin heats amazingly well, there is a wood stove (loved the wood stove!) and a central heater that both work perfectly and fast. Fire wood was added daily it seems. All amenities provided, in bathroom and kitchen. All sparkling clean. It was a little cold and cloudy at night to stay outside but I bet the night sky looks amazing when weather permits

Such an amazing property. The views, the sounds, and everything you could possibly need for a comfort stay. I chose to not connect to the WiFi, and instead enjoy days with zero service. Very well located for exploring each unit of the John Day Fossil Beds, and stunning scenic drives in every direction.

Nice place to stay. Inside of the cabin is nicely done. Beautiful, all wood walls and ceiling. Feels like a cabin but has all the upgrades: nice bathroom, kitchen sink is upgraded with large space and boiling water on tap. Spacious mud room. It was a nice place to stay and we would stay there again.
