This rental was fabulous for us and we were very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the view of the water and the peaceful surroundings. The location was also pretty good for my husband and I as we wanted to visit several local beaches and get over to Old Orchard Beach and walk on the lovely beach there. My husband and I highly recommend this rental to anyone that is seeking an upscale vacation stay.
I had a wonderful summer at the Middle Bay Cottage! I invited family and friends to join me and they all thoroughly enjoyed their stay! Lisa and Bob were fabulous hosts, always timely answers to all my inquiries. The cottage was beautiful and had anything you might need! The location was convenient to Brunswick, Orr’s Island and Bailey’s Island. It was obvious a lot of thought was put into the construction and furnishing of this cottage. This place is 10/10. Lisa is extremely responsive and ensured we had everything we needed. This place is located on a beautiful body of water, the view from the back deck is stellar. The place itself is spotless, we felt like we were the first people to ever stay here. There was a nice welcome gift on the counter upon our arrival. The down stairs is a great hang out space space open concept kitchen, living rooms, and 4 glass sliders that open up to that awesome view. The upstairs has two nice bedrooms, the mattress is probably the most comfortable I’ve slept in. Bathrooms are like you’re at a 5 star hotel and the place is stocked with nice appliances, kitchen ware, and a convenient washer/ dryer. Thanks Lisa!
Lisa's place was like staying at a five star hotel in the beautiful Maine woods, a rare experience indeed. Every detail was thoughtfully attended to, including fresh flowers, a lovely welcome gift, and artfully folded towels. The space is perfectly designed for relaxing stay, with comfortable beds, an outstanding kitchen, and great outdoor space. Close to everything; restaurants, trails, oceanfront, museums and more. Highly, highly recommend.
This place is absolutely beautiful!! The view from every window was breathtaking. We spent a week at Lisa’s place and it did not disappoint! Lisa was very responsive and even installed baby gates at the top and bottom of the stairs when we had asked if they would be available upon our arrival. We had everything we needed and more! There were even toys and books setup and ready for us as we mentioned we would bringing our 4 year old daughter. We would definitely stay here again on future trips to Maine! Don’t hesitate, book now!

自我介绍
Our family of three (Lisa, Bob, and 8 year old, Acadia) lives in the beautiful coastal fishing town of Harpswell, Maine, but the other place we call home is Costa Rica. The biodiversity, wildlife, and culture are a few of what attracts us to this small, but rich Central American country. We anticipate our annual vacation to this warmer climate during Maine's winters. Bob, a well-known local builder, designed and built The Loft at Augusta Road with simplicity in mind, splurging on some amenities that we consider to be important. We love to cook, so we incorporated a grand kitchen, wide open to the living area. Maine winters are long, and bright indoor spaces are a necessity which was the inspiration to add large windows on the south side of The Loft. Bob has always wanted to build a custom tile shower with a rain head and body sprayers, and this has come to fruition at The Loft. Lisa, a five-time national Olympic-style boxing champion and coach, left her career as an Environmental Health and Safety Director to pursue personal boxing training and be more available for Acadia. She utilizes the studio space below The Loft for about 10 hours per week, offering personal training through boxing to improve fitness and build confidence. Stop by and check it out, if you find her in the studio. Acadia, named after the magnificent Acadia National Park, attends the Chewonki School. She loves the outdoors, and most of all, terrifying her parents as she seeks out suitable trees to climb. She also likes to build forts, draw/color, ride her bike, hang out with her chickens and rabbit Henry and cat Lynxie.
