A wonderful place to stay in a quiet, peaceful location. The photos of the rooms are really accurate but no picture can communicate just how warm, cozy and lovely it was to stay here. Everything was spotlessly clean and the kitchen was superbly equipped. Julia was very helpful, providing great instructions in order to find the Airbnb and she was so friendly and welcoming on arrival. I wholeheartedly recommend Julia's place. All you have to do when you arrive is settle in, relax and enjoy.

I stayed in Julia’s barn for 11 weeks due to working in the area. Julia was extremely accommodating before I had even booked, her and Mark found me a washing machine that I can use within the property. Julia was lovely, providing eggs and milk on arrival and checking in to see if I needed anything. The barn has everything you need for cooking and is in a beautiful area. The barn is so lovely and I felt right at home from the beginning. You can go for walks down the river or go somewhere further afield, it is all picturesque. The cat, Smudge pops over for a cuddle every so often and their dog, Maggie is the friendliest dog ever. I will definitely be back to visit again, I loved every minute of my very long stay! If you are looking for an impeccably clean, peaceful, beautifully decorated place to stay with thoughtful details and a friendly host; I cannot recommend Julia’s studio more highly. As an ex travel writer I’ve travelled the world and have stayed in hundreds of B&Bs and hotels - this accommodation ranks highly with me. I’m always looking for a place that is on a par with my home or that can exceed my expectations - which are high! You will not be disappointed. One small point I would make is that you should like nature and animals if you book here as there is a curious cat and a friendly dog (however the animals do not enter the accommodation) but they will come and say hello!

Really enjoyed staying at Julia’s place for a wedding close by. Great space inside with everything you need for a stay. Kitchen has all the amenities you need and space to cook for yourself. No complaints with the space and facilities you get. Julia was quick getting back to us and was kind enough to let us borrow a fan on a hot night. Lovely stay and would recommend.

Fantastic. I cannot rate Julia's place highly enough. Absolutely first class. The moment we walked in, we felt relaxed, at ease and at home. Larkrise was spotless and carefully set up to the highest standard right down to the finest detail - lovely bed linen, towels, kitchen, decor and furnishings. Julia had thought of everything to make our stay wonderful We needed to 'get away from the city' for a few days of peace and relaxation. It was perfect. Julia and family were warm, generous, helpful and welcoming, whilst totally respecting our privacy. We explored the local town of Langport and walks along the River Parrett and spent lots of time just relaxing Larkrise. It was so lovely we did not want to go anywhere. This is a fantastic place to stay and would definitely stay again
