The barn fully deserves the 5* rating. Everything is presented to a very high standard, is airy, spacious, light and comfortable. The owners give up a very generous part of their garden that is v private for your own use with wonderful views across meadows to hills beyond. It's wonderful to wake up and open the doors of the french balcony in the bedroom!

Serena’s place was lovely, and we had a great time. Beautiful interior design, every little detail is thought through and tasteful. A great cottage to rest and unwind away from it all in the countryside!

This is the most beautiful, serene setting to experience and to rest and recharge. Perfect base for exploring both the beaches and Dartmoor National Park. Nearby Ashburton is lovely. Serena’s place is clean, spacious, quiet, warm and surrounded by gorgeous countryside.

Orchard Bank Barn, is a slice of heaven! A very stylish, comfy barn with everything you could need for a great holiday exploring the south coast and Dartmoor. Everything was easy, from check-in, directions and a great list of local suggestions from Serena. The decor is beautiful and bright, with a powerful shower and comfy bed, which was perfect after long days hiking and cycling. We really enjoyed the views and large garden for alfresco coffees and dinners (even in March!) Ashburton was a short walk away down the country lanes, and was great for a coffee / wine and general potter around. Local buses are available, but a car is certainly useful if you want to explore a bit further afield. I would certainly recommend Serena’s place for a peaceful stay in a beautiful part of the UK.

We had a fantastic time. We immediately felt at home, the barn has a super welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. It was a great place to stay with a super location, close to restaurants, coffee shops and shops and a short drive for some fantastic walks.
