Was a lovely place surrounded by pretty countryside to stay for a little holiday! Sarah was very friendly and helpful. The home is spacious and warm and has a very well equipped kitchen. It was lovely to see all the horses around too 😊 and nice walks straight from the house. Thank you!

Lovely place for us to stay outside of Edinburgh, only an hour drive in the morning. We felt right at home. It was lovely and warm when we entered with milk, biscuits and hot chocolate! The sofa was really comfortable after our long drive as were the beds. Fab to have a real wood fire. Great shower. Everything we needed in the kitchen for our short stay. If we need to come this way again we would love to stay longer and explore the area. Perfectly clean and tidy. Thank you

Sarah was a friendly host. Stableside had everything we needed and Sarah left useful information about the area. It was a wee bit out of town but we were given clear instructions on how to find it. It’s perfectly placed for walking the Borders Abbey Way. It was lovely to meet Percy and Dexter too!

We had a wonderful stay at Sarah’s place with our two young kids. We spent some time in Jedburgh town, exploring the historical buildings. We built dens and played on tree swings in the woods close by to the property. And of course we loved seeing all the ponies and meeting Sarah’s lovely dogs. The property is cosy and homely, perfect for a break away to the countryside.

A wonderful place to stay in a beautiful location. Very well-equipped and tastefully furnished. We especially enjoyed the wood burner, the large kitchen and large lounge area. Comfy sofa! Sarah the host was very responsive to any questions we had. We had a storm during our holiday and Sarah did everything she possibly could do to make us feel comfortable from flasks of hot water (and hot water bottles for the beds) to arranging somewhere else for us to shower when the power was off. She delivered plenty of wood to the door to make sure we were warm. A big thank you Sarah! Because of Sarah the storm did not spoil our holiday. In fact it was rather cosy - playing cards in the candle light.
