Beautiful serene little bunkie house by a cute little brook that goes thru the property. Was very pleased with the accomodations we were all set up for camping so it was perfect for us. The little chalet is super cute but my only point that could be modified for the best would be to have firepits closer to the bunkies. Because the place to make the fire was quite far from the bunkie house and we still had to make supper we didnt get to make a fire at night or the morning and felt like that was missed. Other than than very quiet campground super friendly host. Super clean bathrooms are just a short walking distance away. I would return for for sure
Stayed at cabins next to river...scenic, very cosy and relaxed place to get away. Very close to hiking trails and cycling routes and beaches.
Absolutely lovely little spot! Located at a small and quiet campground with friendly and respectful guests, right along the Six Mile Brook. The campground was easy to find, a short distance from the highway off of Exit 19, and not too far away from town. Susan was very responsive, and her husband Shane was very helpful when I got to the campground. Lovely people! The bunkies were just far enough away from the campers for some privacy, but close enough for a short walk to the washrooms. The bunkie was very clean, and right beside the brook! Spent a lovely evening by myself relaxing on the deck, long after the lights along the brook turned on when it got dark (gorgeous!). Opened the windows and fell asleep to the sound of the babbling brook. I’d barely left the campground and already suggested to my friend that we go back together before the season’s over, and I’ve been recommending this spot to everyone!
Enjoy all the amenities of the Applebrook Campground including an outdoor saltwater pool, hiking/ATV trails (close by), catch and release fishing ponds, activities and entertainment when available.
