The cottage at Crystal Bay is perfect! The meticulously designed and maintained home sits on a serene bay with gorgeous water front views. The sunsets are amazing. The cottage is modern yet a step back in time. The view of the bay from the large living room windows and front porch is mesmerizing. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Our hosts Terry and Ashley were great! We arrived after sunset and the directions to access the home were excellent. It was my daughter's birthday and I knew from other guest posts we were a bit far from restaurants but Ashley's recommendations for Chesapeake City (not really a city) were spot on! The cottage is on a rural bay and it takes about 20 minutes to access larger shops which is essential to the charm. There is a great liquor-wine store 10 minutes away and Zoots Amish farm stand has local eggs, baked goods and veggies. As other posts noted there is no internet but my cell worked fine and that is part of the charm. Absolutely lovely cottage!

this was a nice getaway with a great water view. really great cure for our burnout from work. it takes a bit to get to any restaurant or shopping on the off season , so make sure you take snacks and water with you. it was well worth it to stay in this clean and cozy cottage with a beautiful view.

Terry's place is a great place to go for an unplugged getaway. The cottage was spotlessly clean, comfortably furnished and cozy. The views from the deck are so nice! Perfect for a couple or small family. Would gladly stay again.
