房东人很好，沟通很及时，只是可能因为生活差异所以有一件我认为很重要的事情她没有及时告诉我，就是电梯是坏的，而且无意维修了；我当时选房源的首要条件就是电梯，我妈妈78岁了，我也56岁了，膝盖不好走楼梯很吃力的，平时如果有电梯出行方便我们每天会进进出出很多次的，这个2楼其实就是我们国内的3楼，这回硬生生减少到两天一次了，买东西提上楼也不方便，更别说我们入住那天有6个大箱子呢，辛亏了我们的司机。 说到房间里的硬件设施我也要说一下，电磁炉开启很不方便，对老年人非常不友好，把我妈妈都整哭了，餐桌和炉灶一体的，4个吧凳太高了，坐着腰酸背痛的，无法正常吃饭的，写写东西也不方便，只能拿个房间里的凳子趴在窗台上写🤦🏼‍♀️，卧室的床很柔软只是房间的床头柜也太小了，开启还不方便，放东西的地方还是太少了。 到达的那天卫生间的地上居然还有大便没有清干净，我用了小半包的湿厕纸才擦干净的，卫生间很窄小，马桶边连个扁的垃圾桶都塞不进去，厕纸放在水箱上取用很不方便，装修的材料都是很不容易去除湿气的那些水龙头也是一开水花四溅的……客厅的沙发打开睡觉中间是凹陷的，非常不舒服…地段确实不错但也着实很喧哗，每天晚上熙熙攘攘人声喧闹，各种球迷，酒吧客来来往往的，只有在凌晨5:00～8:30之间清净一会儿，窗关严实也没太大作用，窗帘的遮光效果也不好，终于熬过了这漫长的一个多月吖…短租的价格也是楼上的长租客的5倍，真没想到吖！希望房东好好改善一下硬件设施吧。

Lesley-Ann's flat was in a super convenient location to St. James Park. As other reviews mentioned, it is loud at night, but that is being in the City Center next to late night pubs and it didn't bother us. Also, be prepared to do a few flights of stairs to get to the flat, so if you have lots of luggage, take your time. 😀 Flat was super lovely. just as the pictures show. Water pressure in the shower was perfect. if you are a larger person, the Toilet is pretty tight, but everything in the bathroom was new and very modern. Lesley was VERY communicative! She always responded quickly and understanding of my questions. Best Airbnb host I've had so far. I highly recommend this place for exploring Newcastle City Centre and checking out St. James Park.

A stylishly furnished modern apartment, well located in Newcastle city centre. It was an excellent location for us as it was a short walk from the train station, the RVI and the city centre shops. Although fairly small, the space was more than adequate for the two of us and didn't feel cramped. As other reviewers have noted it can be noisy on the street outside at night- but this is probably to be expected in the city centre. Also the communal stairs up to the flat are a bit scruffy and smelly, but rest assured the flat itself is significantly better. I thought the dressing table area next to the front door was very convenient for blow drying my hair. The placement of the socket, mirror & stool were well thought out- which isn't always the case in rented apartments!

Contemporary, sunny and light filled apartment, just perfect for what we required. Immaculately presented with everything we needed. A bit of noise at night as we were very central but this didn’t bother us as we felt the location was great for us as first time visitors.
