I'm an avid hiker who enjoys hiking all over Wisconsin and I could hardly believe my luck when I found such a beautiful home in such an incredible location for me to hike near so many bodies of water! Sadly, I became very ill several days before my trip and almost didn't make it. Thankfully, I was able to make the 5 hour drive because it turned out to be the best possible remedy! I was able to rest, restore, relax and be completely at peace. The sauna warmed me up and cleared my lungs, the comfy bed and linens provided a sanctuary for restful sleep and the property and wildlife healed me inside and out with it's tranquility and beauty. I was able to make a visit to Straight Lake State Park for the views and fresh air. No hiking this trip, but I WILL be back!

If you ever get the opportunity to visit this place, GO! You will not regret it. My stay was relaxing and beautiful. I couldn’t have asked for anything more.
