Zumba House at The Reserve Gold Standard Certified A private getaway awaits you at this luxury home! This home is nestled in a gated, guarded wildlife sanctuary known as The Reserve, where deer and armadillos wander through the property. The property is comprised of three different buildings to offer the perfect place for couples or families. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and outdoor shower only adding to the private experience. Cool down in your private pool, or visit the clubhouse with a beachfront pool, beach access, and grill. There is a restaurant and a bar that are sometimes open, so keep an eye out for them! This property is located in between Southern Belize's coastal and rainforest ecosystems which opens up the possibilities when it comes to attractions. Head inland for some hiking, ziplining, river or cave tubing, Mayan pyramids, and beautiful jungle waterfalls! The Caribbean Sea and barrier reefs offer a different array of activities, including fishing, snorkeling, diving, island hopping, and so much more. The closest town is Hopkins around 19 miles by car and has a wide selection of bars, restaurants, stores, gift shops, and even a drumming school! You will be 26 miles from the town of Dangriga. The main living space offers a beautiful and well-decorated open floor plan seamlessly combining the kitchen, dining area, and living room. Spread out comfortably in the living area while planning your next adventures, watching TV, playing cards, or even taking a midday nap. When mealtime comes, the fully-equipped kitchen will help you prepare the most delicious homemade meals for the crew. You may even want to try your hand at a local Belizean recipe! <b>THINGS TO KNOW</b> A car is a must to be able to visit the region. 4x4 is recommended during the rainy season (Jul-Nov) 2 dog(s) are welcome in this home. No other animals are allowed without specific Vacasa approval. <br/>Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. <br/>Air conditioning is only available in certain parts of the home. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 18 years of age to book. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

other than there being a mouse in the kitchen after we cooked lol the place was amazing 10/10. it was so secluded and private from everting it was a great stay for the last few days before we flew back home. we loved the individual rooms and the bathrooms indoor/outdoor. the pool was amazing as well.
Achtung!!! Die Unterkunft liegt nicht in Dangriga, sie ist 50 Autofahrt Minuten entfernt. Die Unterkunft liegt im "The Reserve Belize". Neben der Unterkunft gibt es eine Mini Tankstelle (Wasser, Kekse, Eis usw.) sonst liegt ca. 20 min. mit dem Auto nichts weit und breit. Zudem hatten wir falsche Koordinaten erhalten. Es war sehr schwer die Unterkunft zu finden zumal wir im dunklen anreisten. Zusätzlich war auch noch die Schlüsselbox defekt so dass wir rätseln mussten wie wir rein kommen. Als wir es geschafft hatten war wirklich fast alles perfekt. Die Unterkunft war sauber, gut ausgestattet.die Unterlunft liegt in 3 Häusern (2x Schlafzimmer & 1 Küche). Sehr ruhig und naturverbunden. Viele Sandfliegen usw. Der Pool ist sehr gefährlich, unsere Kinder haben sich mehrfach die Haut zu Blut aufgeschlitzt, da viele kleine Fliesen abgefallen sind und es viele scharfe Ecken hat. Der große Pool am Meer ist ca. 10 Min. mit dem Auto entfernt. Er ist wunderschön gelegen. Auto ist ein muss.

DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY! Location: It's advertised as Dangriga Belize. This property is in fact 60 minutes by car south of Dangriga. It's south of Hopkins by 40 minutes. This house is located in a defunct housing development called "The Reserve" which ended up being the largest real state scam in FTC history, scamming $100+ million from investors. Search "The Reserve Belize" for WSJ articles. The development only has 50 of a planned 1800 houses. The house was easily built 15+ yrs ago and hasn't been maintained. The pool is dirty and missing tiles. Interior things are falling apart. Abandoned house next door. The photos are from when the property was new. During our stay we didn't have hot water. The hot water heater was broken so we had to take cold showers. Vacasa failed to help and issued a $34 refund for a full week's stay. The beach club pool and beach are 10 minutes by car from the house. They're not actively used and are old. No one will be there except for security.
