Right from the start, our arrival at Swallows Rest was met with a genuinely warm welcome that made me and my partner feel right at home by Karen and Peter. Our stay was truly delightful. So much of that was down to the lovely little touches that were everywhere you looked. For us, the new hot tub was a real treat watching, rabbits and pheasents running through the fields; it was just what we needed after a day out exploring. The area around the property is just stunning. We loved our peaceful walks through Hadleigh and Wolves Woods and beyond, such beautiful, tranquil spots that made it the perfect break. Swallows Rest itself is the ideal mix of comfort and peace, making our time there really special. We're already planning a trip back in a couple of months!

The space was beautiful with lovely views, the hosts were both extremely helpful and kind with fresh eggs from their chickens! The accommodation was so cosy but spacious and decorated lovely. Will definitely be back!

Absolutely lovely little place perfect for a romantic weekend away. Karen and Peter were such kind lovely hosts they even started the fire for when we arrived and they got us a nice bottle of white wine to enjoy. The area is breathtaking with such nice walks available. The place itself was so clean and decorated to perfection. Our favourite part was the having fire on in the evening it made the stay so much more cosy. Would 100% recommend will be returning. Make sure you bring wellies.

A really beautiful, peaceful location to spend a few days away. Friendly and welcoming hosts, a warm, cosy, clean space to stay, and the added bonus of horses, dogs and other animals nearby! The accommodation was comfortable, the bed was amazing, the kitchen was well equipped, and the hosts were on hand to help when needed. We will definitely be back!
