Spent a wonderful week at this fantastic house on Hudgins Creek, perfect for my group of 4 adults+3 kids. Pictures don't do it justice. Everything you need to enjoy a vacation by the Chesapeake-comfortable accommodations, well stocked kitchen + outdoor gas grill, dock w/2 crab traps (just add your bait), 4 kayaks/paddles/PFDs, screened porch & deck, the view... oh the view. Enjoyed morning coffee & evening cocktails on the deck, porch & dock marveling at the view. Whole group loved exploring the waterways and local area. Mathews center just a few minutes away w/nice Food Lion, USPS, bank, library, cute shops, and several good restaurants. Haven Beach a few minutes the other way for a sandy beach. Wifi & cell service was ample for working/streaming. Simple check in/out. Host was very responsive & helpful. While there are some neighbors on the creek, it is quiet and private. Our favorite vaca rental in the Northern Neck/Middle Peninsula. Already planning a return visit! 5 stars!

We had a magical stay at this cottage in Moon, Va. I highly recommend staying here for a peaceful getaway. The views are incredible and the location is perfect for exploring the waterways. The charming town of Mathews is just minutes from the cottage and has several good restaurants, local shops, a wonderful library, historic town center and a farmer’s market on Saturday. Will definitely book another stay next year. The Williamsons

We had a great stay! The house was comfortable and had plenty of space. There were games and kayaks and a great screened in porch for morning coffee. There are several couches and spaces to gather. The kitchen was nice and open to the living spaces. It was nice to have the water right out the back. It was especially peaceful and relaxing!

Absolutely fantastic! William's place is a dream. You can't beat the layout of his house, the water views, and the friendliness of the host. We are already planning our next trip.
