My wife, son, and I had a great stay at Laurel's Flower Farm in Lowell, VT. Laurel was very accommodating to my request to add my son to our reservation, so he was able to come with us to experience the April 8 total solar eclipse. We feel so fortunate to have found this place just a few months out from the event and appreciate that they did not set exorbitant rates like so many other places. Laurel and her husband Brad are truly living the dream in northern VT. There is nothing like fresh eggs in the morning from the many chickens that live on the farm. Laurel sent us home with 2 dozen farm fresh, enjoyed meeting their cats Lou and Stew who love to hang outside during the day and very affectionate and friendly. Our room was very clean and had plenty of pillows and blankets, and was great to have use of the kitchen to fix our own meals.

Wow! Simply wow! Laurel and Brad welcomed us into their home as if we were long-lost family! This is just the type of warm hearted, and kind people they are. From the moment we arrived I knew we’d hit the jackpot. Given the fact I booked the room very last minute, I was unsure of what to expect . The photos don’t do the property justice to how pretty the house is both inside and out. From the kitchen, dining area, and through to the common area it was wall to wall , floor to ceiling flowers. Flower farm what would you expect ) . The bedroom and en-suite bathroom were clean and tidy and when the temps dropped below zero still very warm. Being a farm with chickens and ducks we were treated to fresh eggs every morning. Coffee was also always ready when I woke-up at 6 am. We cooked in the evening and one night shared the best chicken pot pie and cake with Laurel’s husband for his birthday. Needless to say but we felt like VIP’s and would highly recommend this property!
