The decoration of the house was a lovely unexpected addition to our holiday. We felt like we were staying in a different era. So unique and special, would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful weekend stay at Highfield cottage for a wedding in Knutsford. Enough space for 7 adults. The house is decorated beautifully and there were so many welcoming touches. Thank you!

We travelled as a multi generation family of 6 adults and 1 child. The property was immaculate with beautiful furniture and thought provoking art work. There was ample space for us to have privacy if needed or to gather together for some family time in the dining room or lounge. The house was warm and had lots of extras we hadn't expected and lots of interesting items throughout the house to talk about The host met us on arrival and gave us a warm welcome and a quick tour and any information we might need, and also provided fresh milk and biscuits. Everyone agreed it was a lovely stay, calm and relaxing. They younger ones were happy that there was wifi, whilst the older ones appreciated the quietness of having no tv, which often instigated family discussions and quality time together. I would highly recommend this property and the host. There is ample room for large groups. Seven of us stayed with comfort and space without any problems whatsoever.

A totally unique, fabulously styled house- wonderful artwork and furniture and original Victorian features abound. Pristine throughout and well equipped. Comfy beds and really welcome little extras like fresh flowers and home baked biscuits. Super hosts who obviously love the house as much as the guests who are lucky enough to stay there. Would highly recommend.

We had a great stay here and would highly recommend to others! The house has been renovated to a brilliant standard and it was very nice of Phil to show us round the house and give a rundown of the local area. Hopefully we get the chance to revisit!!
