The seaside resort of Sea Palling has excellent sandy beach backed by sand dunes, restaurant, small arcade and café, 18 minutes’ drive. Bygone museums, craft centres, National Trust parks and Blickling and Felbrigg Halls are all within an easy drive. The city of Norwich, 13 miles, has a magnificent cathedral, castle museum, art galleries, cinemas, theatre, cafés, fine restaurants, and excellent shopping.
