Ilona’s place was a great staycation for the weekend. I went with a group of friends for a birthday and even in the colder end of an October it was still nice and cozy being by the water. The views were unbeatable and it was extremely private and quiet. All the amenities and utensils and supplies you could even think of were supplied which was awesome as well! Will definitely be saving this as a favourite place!

Ilona’s place is absolutely beautiful! Fantastic family get away for 9 of us. The place & surroundings were stunning. We lucked out with spectacular September weather which enabled us to swim, kayak & fish! The wrap around porch was really nice with lots of outdoor & indoor seating. Beautiful fire bowl on deck which accommodated 9 of us. The interior of the cottage was tastefully decorated. Beds were very comfortable, lots of linens, towels, fully stocked kitchen with lots of appliances. It had everything. The dogs enjoyed their stay too. We had such a great time that we’ll most definitely return!

Ilona’s place was very nice. The first night we got there it was very windy and given they are right on the lake, we were unable to sit on the deck.However the second night was much different and we got to enjoy the beautiful sunset and have dinner outside. The rooms were comfy and the main bathroom was quite nice. She has every dish, pot and pan you can think of so no need to bring any of that with you! The grounds and ability to take our dog on walks or leave him in the closed in deck was nice to have. Her place was very clean and the only small issue was the spiders and spider webs that come with having a cottage right on the lake. They don’t bother me and the odd one that made their way inside, I just caught and released outside. The fishing from the dock was great and putting our fishing boat in down the road was $20.00 and super simple. All said, we enjoyed ourselves very much!

Ilona's place is incredible! The view can't be beat, the wrap-around porch is spacious and comfortable, and the actual cottage itself is very roomy and a great amount of space for 7-8 people. We felt very cozy and at home at Ilona's place and would 100% come back again. My only suggestion is to check the propane tanks as soon as you get there if you plan on having a fire - our group had already had a couple of drinks and so were unable to have a fire the first night.

Ilona’s cottage was a great place for me and my family. The cottage was extremely well stocked with lots, pans, plates, cups, cutlery and more small appliances one would expect to find at a cottage. We were able to make some great meals and the indoor space and bathrooms were perfect for our group of 7. The upper dock was perfect to lounge around and watch the evening sunsets. We enjoyed fishing off the dock and using the kayaks to explore the lake. Ilona was friendly and super responsive. Will definitely be back again soon.
