My husband and I loved our stay at the Wood Duck Inn. It was the perfect base for our motorcycle adventures. We had plenty of space and even had some wildlife visitors (turkeys, deer & bald eagles). Would definitely recommend the Wood Duck Inn.

The house was comfortable with a lot of space and a very unique layout. We loved the large comfortable living room, cozy furniture, screened porch to watch the wildlife, and the proximity to lots of activities and great food. The loft was nice for our daughter to have her own space at times, and the bathrooms were like new. Gary was friendly and quick to respond to inquiries. We enjoyed the short drive to Wyalusing State Park, Pikes Peak State park (Iowa), Jone's Black Angus Supper Club (one of the best meals we've ever had!), the famous Pete's hamburger stand, Huckleberry's Restaurant for breakfast, and a variety of fun stores. We saw a couple of bald eagles on and near the property, as well as some pileated woodpeckers when we had a camp fire one evening. All in all, it was a great place for a family getaway, and we look forward to visiting again!

Enjoyed our stay very much. there lots room. Great patio, which we were sad we didn't get to use due to cold rainy weather. Overall, it was a great place and I would recommend it.

Wood Duck Inn was very cozy, private location, loads of amenities! Gary is a responsible respectable host. I would recommend his listing, and would return.

Great place for our family of 5 and 3 dogs. We appreciate that we were allowed to have 3 dogs. The place was clean and homey. We enjoyed the screened porch the most, playing games until late each night. If you are looking for a cozy place located near river fun that allows your furry friends, this is it!!
