Absolutely gorgeous! Such a comfortable and peaceful stay! I can’t wait to go back! Had everything I needed!
Absolutely adorable little place for a peaceful getaway! The cabin is filled with priceless family memories that make it feel very cozy and welcoming. The outdoor setting is peaceful and relaxing with a stunning view. ❤️ The cabin was well equipped with all necessities plus many extras including great recommendations from Marla. Marla was quick to respond and great to communicate with. She stayed in touch during our stay answering my questions and making great recommendations on places to eat and visit in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would love to stay again if in the area.
Marla’s place was absolutely amazing. It’s small but well stocked. We cooked at the cabin for every meal and had everything we needed. Drinking coffee on the porch every morning while listening to the birds was absolutely perfection. We didn’t see any deer but we did have an armadillo visitor each night!! Marla was a great host and had lots of good recommendations. We enjoyed it so much we ended up staying an extra night. If you’re looking for somewhere peaceful, quiet, and off the beaten path this place is definitely it. We can’t wait to come back!
Thank you for the enjoyable stay. Had an awesome float and make sure to check out Blanchard spring and cavern. Great time!!! Thanks!!!
Our cabin is located 8.4 miles off of Hwy 27 N. You are 10 miles from downtown Marshall where you will find the last drive- in movie theater in the state- KENDA DRIVE- IN. Also located downtown are several fast- food chains as well as a Harps grocery store. We STRONGLY suggest buying your groceries prior to heading to the cabin. The small quaint town of Leslie is 15 miles south on Hwy 65. It has a few antique stores to browse or grab something to eat at Skylark Cafe (wonderful food and desserts) or Ryan's grill for a mouth-watering steak or enjoy the Crooked Gate Farm Store & Cafe right on Main Street. Also located right before Leslie on the banks of the Little Red River is the Red River Cafe. This Cafe is new to Searcy County. Reviews have been good especially for their breakfast and Friday night fish dinners.
We have provided a book with surrounding information as well as brochures for local outfitters, restaurants and other points of interest that you will find in the cabin upon arrival.
Closest river access: The turn off to South Maumee is 1.3 miles further down Hwy 27 N from cabin. The river access is 7 miles down this road.
Please note: Although we are only 8.4 miles off of Hwy 27 N, if you plan on going out to eat for every meal instead of cooking at the cabin it will be 20-40 minutes of driving roundtrip depending on where you go. For this reason, we STRONGLY recommend buying groceries before checking in. On an average weekend, we usually find guests go out to eat one night and spend the rest of the time at the cabin.
自我介绍
Hi! I'm Marla. Professionally I am a nurse turned AIRBNB host! My love for the area started when I was just a child, way before the river was established as a National River. My parents would take me to Grinder's Ferry for a splash in river during the hot summer months. Years later, my love for the area, and my late husband's need for hunting opportunities led us to envision a getaway place. And so Red Bluff Cabin was born.
