Our quiet neighborhood is conveniently located on the bus line to Takoma Metro station (1.5 miles away)—from where it's a 15 minute ride to downtown DC. Like good food? There's a wide variety in nearby Takoma Park and Silver Spring: Italian, Ethiopian, Salvadorean, Middle Eastern, vegan, pizza, burgers… Want to stretch your legs? We are steps from a network of wooded bike paths. Basement studio with sitting space, double bed, bathroom, microwave, mini-fridge, kettle, tea, coffee, plates and utensils. Filtered drinking water in refillable glass bottles provided. Air mattress and laundry facilities available upon request.

Great place. The ceilings are low so I wouldn't recommend for tall people.
Kelly's kindness was so warm. 💕I loved both the host and the house. I was very satisfied while using the house. It was cozy and pretty, and everything was clean. 👍🏻It's far from DC, but I moved in the car, so it wasn't uncomfortable, and parking in front of my house was very convenient.👍🏻
Kelly place was great! The area is close to city. It was easy to fine and easy to get to. Place was clean and as described on the description! Kelly was also very accommodating and quickly reply to us when we had questions or needed help adjusting the temperature.

The best thing about our little neighborhood is that it is a mini United Nations—home to some of the friendliest people you’d ever hope to meet from countries around the world. Takoma Park and Silver Spring—both also very diverse—are located just over a mile away in different directions. Both offer a wide variety of coffee shops and restaurants featuring food from around the world.
You can generally find parking right in front of my house.

I'm an international humanitarian photographer, writer and designer. After 18 years living abroad in the British Virgin Islands, the UK, Bangladesh and Ethiopia, I'm glad to call Takoma Park my home base. In the 14 years I’ve lived here, I have had the good fortune to travel to many more countries.
